Course Objectives: 

The aim of this course is to provide a deep understanding of fundamental calculus concepts. This course is the last of the sequence of calculus courses in this program. Students will deal with fundamental concepts such as limit, continuity and derivative and their interpretations.  

Course Learning Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  1. Interpret multivariable functions.
  2. Exemplify the concepts of limit, continuity.
  3. Describe sequences of functions and series.
  4. Compute different forms of derivative, including directional and partial derivative.
  5. Interpret geometric meaning of partial derivative.
  6. Explain higher order derivatives.
  7. Perform chain rule.
