Concepts of society, community service and social responsibility; social responsibility projects in terms of social and cultural values; defining current social problems; designing projects to solve predetermined social problems; voluntarily participating in social responsibility projects either individually or in groups; participating in social responsibility projects in various institutions and organizations; participating in various institutions and organizations; participating in scientific activities like symposiums, congresses, conferences, panels as an audience, a presenter or an organizer, assess outcomes of social responsibility projects. Course Objectives:
Community Service is a common course for all education faculty students. This course aims to involve students in a community service project. By actively participating in such a volunteer activity, they will develop their different skills such as emotional, social and research skills and inform others about some determined social problems and facilities of engagement.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Understand the importance of community service.
2. Define current problems of society.
3. Design projects to solve predetermined social problems.
4. Participate in various social responsibility projects voluntarily.
5. Participate in scientific activities like symposium, congress, conferences, panels as an audience, a presenter or an organizer.
6. Assess outcomes of social responsibility projects.
