Course Objectives:
- To increase awareness for the importance of employing effective communication strategies in English.
- To improve listening skills and strategies of students in academic and colloquial English.
- To improve pronunciation skills of students with special emphasis on the effective analysis of language input and raise students' consciousness for the use of correct pronunciation of words.
- To improve speaking skills of students and assist them to revise English language needed to participate in discussions, and to deliver presentations.
- To employ an appropriate and effective range of verbal and non-verbal skills in a variety of situations.
- To help students build confidence in terms of using English language appropriately in the critical analysis of other's speeches and the delivery of group and individual speeches.
