Course Objectives:
This course aim to design and developed of the physical and social learning environments, program structure, integrating technology, family and staff sections in primary and early childhood education.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. design developmentally and culturally appropriate learning environments that support individual and collaborative learning for young children
2. prepare healthy, respectful, supportive, and challenging learning environments for each child
3. evaluate space, furniture, tools, materials, and toys in the learning environment for early childhood teaching
4. use interactive technologies to extend the possibilities for children’s learning locally and globally
5. employ instruction, interactions, time and children at work using developmentally appropriate strategies
6. collaborate with children, families, and colleagues to build a positive learning climate of openness, mutual respect, support, and inquiry.
