Course Objectives:
This course aims to equip students with the knowledge of the importance of the concept of “information technologies in education, the relationship between information technologies and education, theoretical approaches to instructional technologies, the design of teaching materials and creation of object storage areas peculiar to subject area, and design of thematic teaching materials.
Course Learning Outcomes:
- discuss the importance of instructional technologies in education,
- classify teaching process and instructional technologies,
- determine conceptual and theoretical foundations of instructional technologies.
- describe new trends in teaching approaches,
- develop learning materials considering impact of instructional technologies on material development,
- design teaching materials peculiar to subject area by drawing on appropriate instructional technologies,
- evaluate teaching material designed depending on evaluation criteria.
