Catalog Description:
Definition, scope and types of trauma (natural disasters, human-created traumas, proxy traumasecondary trauma, etc.); reactions that can be seen in children, adolescents and adults after trauma and factors affecting individual, familial and social consequences of trauma experience, causes of trauma possible psychological disorders (post-traumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder, etc.); the trauma approaches and intervention methods to prevent negative effects on humans; state policies related to trauma and legal aspects to be considered when working with trauma victims basics, qualifications and competences of the counselor who will work with traumatized persons.
